Prefab roastery

Prefab Eatery is our flagship café and the test lab for all our ACME Products. We roast our Coffee on site and sell it under our brand ACME. It is roasted on a daily basis by co-owner Jeff Kennedy who has been roasting coffee since 1990. It is then sampled, tested and enjoyed by hundreds of people a day at Prefab.

We focus on 2 main blends; Espresso and Pour Plunge Brew, plus a Decaf option, so that we can ensure our coffee is always fresh. We pride ourselves on strong but smooth blends. We don’t believe in letting coffee enter the carbon zone during our roasting process, as this will eliminate any possibility of it being burnt. Instead we take out our coffee in the caramelisation stage.
